{"id":551,"date":"2020-02-17T20:45:28","date_gmt":"2020-02-17T19:45:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nagibel.com\/?page_id=551"},"modified":"2020-02-17T21:39:23","modified_gmt":"2020-02-17T20:39:23","slug":"kendo-word-2014","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/nagibel.com\/index.php\/kendo-word-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Kendo Word (2014)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A l&#8217;occasion du stage INF, David a \u00e9crit un article pour le journal &#8220;kendo world&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2014 International Naginata Federation Seminar<\/strong><br><br><br><br>By K.W.Editor | September 24, 2014 | Naginata The 2014 International Naginata Federation Seminar By David D\u2019hose, President, European Naginata Federation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most recent International Naginata Federation (INF) seminar was held in the Netherlands city of Amstelveen, next to Amsterdam, from August 22-24, 2014.There were about 85 participants from Australia, Belgium, Britain, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Sweden and the USA who attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20180904052438im_\/http:\/\/www.nagibel.be\/uploads\/images\/Pub\/10620149_294246480758162_7865993405680751340_o-1024x436.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This great event, organized by the Netherlands Naginata Renmei, was conducted by a large delegation led by Hashimoto Kumiko, President of the INF, and Kimura Yasuko, Kyoshi, INF Director and Soke of the Tendo-ryu, who came from Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also present in the delegation: Yoshii Mieko, Hanshi, INF Director, Japan; Sunagawa Kuniko, Hanshi, INF Director, Japan; Kasahara Matsumi, Kyoshi, Coach, Japan; Helen Nakano, Kyoshi, INF Director, USA; Sachiko Matsuda, Kyoshi, Coach, Japan; Tamaki Katsuko, Renshi, Secretary of the INF, Japan; and Hisayo Wada, 3-dan, Assistant, Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants were divided into four groups in which they could all learn shikake-oji and bogu techniques in order to be ready for their examinations which were to be held on the last day of the seminar. The higher dan grade participants had a chance to practise the Zen Nihon Kata with Sunagawa-sensei and 5-dan members were asked to assist the sensei in the teaching programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the second day of the seminar, all the participants had to take part in a small tournament. The 5-dan members organized it and led the shinpan team. The 3-dan and 4-dan members had to manage the shinpan duties and the shodan, 2-dan and kyu members participated in the engi and shiai tournament. It was an interesting exercise where everybody learned about the tournament process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20180904052438im_\/http:\/\/www.nagibel.be\/uploads\/images\/Pub\/10547948_304936333022510_6503765935419782326_o-1024x571.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20180904052438im_\/http:\/\/www.nagibel.be\/uploads\/images\/Pub\/10619896_304933229689487_5655041649732441308_o-1024x648.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20180904052438im_\/http:\/\/www.nagibel.be\/uploads\/images\/Pub\/10662014_304933696356107_3749895969226108488_o-1024x555.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the third day of the seminar, many participants took their grading examination. It was a stressful moment but nonetheless, many participants were successful. Congratulations to all of you that passed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This seminar was once again a wonderful naginata experience from a technical but also human point of view.
